Academics

The curriculum framework is based on the ALTIS philosophy of education, designed for independent study, family-focus, and at-home learning, providing both freedom of choice and instructional guidance. The core subjects covered provide a foundation for 21st-century learning skills, academic content for international instruction and evaluation, along with Christian values.

ALTIS curriculum blends academic standards from the Tennessee Department of Education with NCPSA/ISEI standards (including Common Core State Standards and a Christian worldview) and allows families to enrich the ALTIS curriculum with extra courses/electives of their choice.

Teaching and learning combine printed or electronic materials, hybrid learning, live classes, and on-site final evaluation. The schedule includes both set time classes with teachers and flexible mentoring during school days for self-paced study.
