Academic standards

The school’s academic standards are established in line with the guidelines of accrediting bodies and are informed by the standards of the Tennessee Department of Education, the Common Core State Standards, the Next Generation Science Standards, and the National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies. These frameworks underpin the learning objectives and are adapted to the school’s cultural context, Christian values, and educational philosophy.

Based on these standards, the curriculum and framework plan are designed for each level of education and include both core subjects and elective courses tailored to students’ ages, needs, and emerging directions in education. Beginning in Grade 8, academic progress is assessed annually through the tests in the series SAT Suite — PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, SAT, the school being an **SAT testing centre**.

At the end of high school, students receive a High School Diploma (College Prep Diploma) and take the international SAT examination, which certifies their readiness to pursue university studies.

The entire educational journey is designed to achieve academic goals, prepare students for international assessments, and integrate achievement within the school’s values and educational philosophy.
