Mission

Transylvania International School It offers a holistic education grounded in Christian values, where academic excellence is combined with character development, critical and creative thinking, and responsibility toward others. In partnership with families, we support children throughout their development, helping them become skilled, courageous young people rooted in authentic values—prepared to use their abilities in a changing world and make a positive contribution to their communities. TIS aims to help students develop critical thinking, nurture their curiosity, and stimulate their creativity, so that throughout their lives they may contribute to the well-being of people and society in the spirit of Christian values.

Vision

We are developing a leading international educational community in Brașov, grounded in Christian values and inspired by the philosophy of Adventist education. It seeks the harmonious development of each person across their intellectual, moral, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions. By offering a complete educational journey, from early learning through the end of high school, we aim to build a dedicated, nature-integrated campus and become a model of excellence in values-based education—preparing students for university studies worldwide and for a life of meaningful contribution to society, in the spirit of the common good.

Educational principles

At TIS, we believe education is built through collaboration between the school, family, and God. We seek the harmonious development of every student, nurturing their intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual growth. Small class sizes, close teacher-student relationships, and individualised, confidential, progress-focused assessment support an educational journey tailored to each child. Our internationally accredited educational programme is adapted to the Romanian context and enriched through modern teaching methods, opportunities for deeper learning, practical skills development, as well as career guidance and preparation for the future.
