Mission

Transylvania International School offers a holistic education grounded in Christian values, where academic excellence is combined with character development, critical and creative thinking, and responsibility toward others.

In partnership with families, we accompany children throughout their development, helping them become capable, courageous young people grounded in authentic values, ready to use their abilities in a changing world and make a positive contribution to their communities.

TIS wants to support students in forming a critical spirit, nurturing curiosity and stimulating creativity, so that they can contribute, throughout their lives, to the good of people and society, in the spirit of Christian values.

Vision

We are developing a leading international educational community in Brașov, grounded in Christian values and inspired by the philosophy of Adventist education, dedicated to the harmonious development of each person’s intellectual, moral, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions.

By offering a complete educational journey, from early learning through the end of high school, we aim to build a dedicated campus integrated into nature and become a model of excellence in values-based education—preparing students for university studies around the world and for a life of meaningful contribution to society, in the spirit of the common good.

We provide a learning environment in which every student is known and supported. Small class sizes, close teacher-student relationships, and individualised, confidential, progress-focused assessment support an educational journey tailored to each child.
